Therapy for growth and development at all ages
I work with children ages 3 and up who are experiencing behavioral issues, emotional difficulties such as anxiety or depression, trauma, life changes, and more. Within a therapeutic environment, children can feel safe to work through their problems and gain the emotion regulation skills they need to work through future problems in life.
Common issues I treat with children include:
Frequent emotional outbursts
Aggression/fighting
School avoidance
Social skills
Low self worth
Defiance
Difficulty focusing
Not feeling connected to caregiver(s)
Fear of being apart from caregiver(s)
Tramautic experiences such as accidents, fires, abuse, or neglect
Life changes such as adding or losing a family member, divorce, or moving
Foster care and adoption
Behavioral concerns such as toiletting issues, nightmares, daily routine struggles, sibling conflict and more
Pre-teens and teens can often experience immense social challenges, academic pressure, and a hyperfocus on electronics, which can contribute to an increase in mood disorders like anxiety and depression. My work with adolescents and teens is focused on building confidence and connection with others.
Common issues I treat with adolescents and teens include:
Difficulties with friendships
Frequent arguments with family
Social anxiety
General anxiety/worry
Self-harming behaviors
Suicidal ideation
Low self worth
Family changes such as divorce, remarriage, or moving
Building basic life skills for adulthood

As a mother myself who understands the real and honest challenges of parenting, I can walk with you through all the parenting ups and downs, and provide you with tools and strategies to effectively deal with the hard days.
Common issues I treat with parents and caregivers include:
Wanting to change your parenting approach
Feeling like you have tried everything with your child and it is not working
Understanding your values as a parent better
Desire to learn more about child development, and how to help your child thrive in that stage of development
Struggle with work/life balance
Trauma related to the way you were parented
Connecting with a child after a significant separation
